THE AUTHOR

The author: Issac CarterIsaac Carter is a financial coach/author who specialises in giving practical and effective money management advice. Isaac has written two books, one for adults and one for teenagers, both of which challenge the existing mindset currently perpetrated by our consumer driven society.

Isaac was born and raised in Tottenham, North London where he was one of 7 children raised by Rev Isaac Newton Carter and Mrs Carter who immigrated to England from the Caribbean in the mid 1950s. Isaac raised the bar very high for himself and always believed he was destined for great things. In 1981 he was accepted into University of Kent to study Law and then went on to qualify as a solicitor in 1990.

Isaac has always had an underlying interest in finance and in 2009 he released his first book Go to the Ant a Simple but Effective guide to Money Management. Released in the middle of the credit crunch the book was a response to the financial challenges faced by ordinary people and offered practical tips and solutions to dealing with everyday financial challenges. Based on the underlying principle that effective money management can only be achieved with a game plan to get out of debt, take control of your finances, and make your money work for you.

Go 2 the Antz is Isaac's second publication and is a Money Management book for teenagers, which provides the information they need to get an early start to handling their money.

In a consumer driven society which spent over £2.1 billion on teen related products in 2010 teenagers need all the help they can get to deal with challenge of being turned into "consumers" even before they have had the chance to become "producers".

The combination of aggressive consumer marketing specifically targeted at teenagers along with the loss student Educational Maintenance Allowance and increase in university fees places teenagers in the very worrying position of possibility of entering adult life with debts from which they may never recover.
